Hi everybody, today I will talk about of my favourite food, write this blog has been so hard for me, because I really love food, that made it difficult for me to choose only one. Finally, I remembered the food that my grandmother made me on vacations and I choose the legumes. I LOVE all of kinds of legumes lentils, beans, chickpea, etc. my grandmother cooked legumes once a week, the Thursday´s if my memory doesn´t fail. The legume that I like the most is the beans, my grandmother made a meal called "Porotos con riendas", this meal contains beans, pumpkin, onion, garlic, noodles, and seasoning. this is my favourite meal.
Preparation of "Porotos con riendas" (in short words): the beans are cooked together with the chopped pumpkin until they are cooked, meanwhile fry the onion together with the garlic in a pan, then add the onion with the garlic to the pot where the beans are. then add the noodles and wait until they are cooked.
the reason I love "Porotos con riendas" is because they remind me of rainy days. and I love them too. Another reason why I like them is because they are very healthy, they contain many proteins and this helped me a lot in my muscle growth (when i was an athlete, a long time ago xd)
